Isn’t it so that you have to be in the right place at the right time. The time and place occurred for us in 2009 when we (having nine years of experience in large-format digital printing for advertising banners) were contacted by a construction company and asked if we could print and install facade canvas to Tallinn University of Technology Library building.
Wow! Was that a challenge! 4800 square meters of printed facade. It felt like a start-up in 2009 and we went for it. We invented the solution, we printed the canvas and we installed it. Archiprint was born and our story had begun.
As always, we faced difficulties at start. We had almost 10 years of experience in digital printing but we were rookies in the construction business. We practiced, we learned and we got priceless experience and knowledge that is taught nowhere. We never thought of giving up.
We are now using this knowledge and experience complementing those with every new project, developing and gaining new ways of doing things even better every time. We give architects and constructors a completely unique possibility to bring visual art to architecture. We have merged two separate lines – printing and building. We open an even broader perspective for architects’ visual ideas being innovative and distinctive with an affordable price. We help to brighten, cheer and entertain the urban look. We are confident that our story lives and we can be proud of what we have contributed to art and architecture in the future world.
